4.NF.B.4.CTask 3-me

You're making molasses cookies for a social studies class project on the American Revolution's Molasses Act. The recipe calls for a 1/2 teaspoon of allspice, but you don't have any and it's too late to go to the store. You went online and found out you could substitute 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of ginger, and 1/4 teaspoon of cloves for 1 teaspoon of allspice. How much cinnamon, ginger, and cloves are there in a 1/2  teaspoon of substitute allspice? Show your work  by using visual fraction models and equations to represent the problem.
