Total War

I am excited to integrate Mr Carlson's information over Aviation and the US Government.  Texas State Board of Education titles our mandated learning objectives as "Total War - World War II  1939-1945".  I had never heard the phrase "Total War" prior to this workshop and he explained it perfectly - it was not just Team A fighting Team B BUT incorporating the destruction of your opponents economy.  The better your aircraft was the more damage you could inflict upon your opponent's economy.  The primary source that I would love to use will be the  specs on the B-17 (1938-39)   compared to  to the  B-36 (1945)
