Directions:

A local news report has found that the biggest increase with time spent online has been among young adults, almost tripling from 10 hours and 24 minutes each week in 2005 to 27 hours and 36 minutes in 2014.

To address this issue, a local nonprofit agency has agreed to fund a ‘Digital Wellness’ program in your community. In order to secure this grant, you and your team members have to create a 5 minute video pitch to ABC grant funding agency to address the problem of teens spending too much time online and ways to promote digital wellness. In conjunction with video, your group have to also create a proposal outlining a needs statement, project description, evaluation plan, budget and sustainability section. A template for the proposal will be provided.

For extra credit: Upload and share your video on social media with the hashtag #digitalwellness to create awareness in the digital community. Provide this link at the end of the video.

  3. Use windows movie maker (see tutorial) or any other software you wish

How will you be assessed?
