The California Social Work Education Center (CalSWEC) is the nation’s largest single-state coalition of social work educators and practitioners. Unique in its size and scope, the CalSWEC collaborative provides professional education, student support, in-service training, and workforce evaluation and research—all directed toward developing effective, culturally competent public service delivery to the people of California. The organization is located at UC Berkeley's School of Social Welfare. For further information about CalSWEC, please see the organization's website.
