Abstract: A series of training exercises in multiplication and division, suited to primary school children from about 8 to 11 years old (keystage 2). Exercises include random generators so that the same levels always have new content when replaced. Altogether 14 levels are included. The first two levels are revision of basic times tables and corresponding division tasks, the assumption for this module being that the child has already mastered the times tables from 2 to 12. The subsequent levels introduce division of higher numbers (mostly dividing 2, 3 and then 4 digit numbers with 1 digit numbers) and division with remainders. The multiplication levels progressively take the child up to multiplication with products ranging between 100 and 1000. A small number of multiple attempts are permitted - between 2 and 3 attempts depending on level. This gives the child a limited chance to correct their mistakes. As with all Qedoc learning modules, the child's performance is carefully tracked, including records of time spent on each level, the accuracy and score achieved, and the number of times each level has been completed.
