Welcome to ://English Matters, a journal where language meets hypermedia. This site presents teaching modules designed by faculty in the English Department to help instructors integrate the materials presented in ://english matters--essays, poetry, annotations of websites--into their courses. These modules are designed for students in lower-division literature classes. We invite teachers and students of English who are questioning and creating new texts and pedagogies on the web to browse through, linger over, and contribute to this collection of essays, exhibits, and performances.
