- Abstract:
DDT is a chemical that was used in Borneo as a way to kill off mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are capable of carrying a disease called malaria and they can infect humans when feeding on them. There were many consequences besides the clearing of many malarial mosquitoes that affected humans terribly. Humans can have positive and negative effects on the environment and these effects can be both immediate and far-reaching.
