Abstract:

An interactive applet and associated web page that demonstrate how to construct the circle that passes through all three given points. The applet starts with three given points and the user can single step or run continuously through the animated construction, ending with the desired circle. The text on the page contains written step-by-step instructions that can be printed. Applet can be enlarged to full screen size for use with a classroom projector.
