Abstract: Motion in two dimensions with one dimensional acceleration (projectile) is analyzed with component motions in coordinate system, whereas motion in two dimensions with two dimensional acceleration (circular motion) is analyzed with the help of component accelerations - tangential and normal accelerations.

Abstract: The EJS Kinematics of a Translating and Rotating Wheel model displays the model of wheel rolling on a floor. By controlling three variables, the kinematics of the wheel can be changed to represent sliding, rolling with sliding, rolling without slipping, rolling with slipping, and spinning. The translational velocity of the wheel, the rotational velocity of the wheel, and the radius of the wheel can be changed via sliders.

Abstract: Motion of projectile on an incline can be studied in terms of a new pair of coordinate axes with x-axis along the incline and y-axis along perpendicular to the incline.
