Fusion provides guidance for third sector, user-led health organizations on setting up legal frameworks for collaboration. It provides a useful overview of models of consortium as well as some consortium monitoring tools.

This course takes an interdisciplinary approach to ethics in business and provides modules in Ethical Leadership, Ethical Decision-Making, Social Responsibility, and Corporate Governance. Students will actively study ethical theory by carrying out exercises to help them build theory-based tools for encountering ethical problems in business practice. They will also work with cases in business ethics designed to give them practice in developing skills of ethical leadership, ethical decision-making, and carrying out socio-technical analyses to respond to issues of social responsibility. This course will culminate in an Ethics Bowl competition in which students will practice ethics advocacy in a variety of organizational contexts in business. This module, which is still undergoing revision, presents different approaches to corporate governance. To provide a realistic context in which to practice these approaches and the associated concepts, it has students in small groups choose an actual company and develop compliance and corrective plans using the approaches and concepts of corporate governance. Designed to compliment previously published modules on the history of corporations, moral ecologies, and corporate social responsibility, it summarizes material currently being taught at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez in the courses of "Corporate Leadership and Social Responsibility" and "Business, Society, and Government." This module describes and prepares students for the ethics bowl activity that is carried out in some of the professional ethics courses at the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez Campus. An earlier version of the activity is described in a report for the IIT EAC Summer Institute Workshop.

This student module summarizes a presentation developed by Efrain O'Neill and Luis Jimenez for developing student awareness and competencies in engineering ethics. It defines ethics, provides a brief introduction to three ethical theories, sets forth useful frameworks and templates for ethical problem solving in engineering, and outlines the professional and code-based ethical responsibilities of engineers in Puerto Rico. A corresponding instructor module provides engineering professors with guidelines for integrating these matters into their courses. This instructor module employs a "train the trainers" strategy that is amenable both to an EAC (ethics across the curriculum) and ABET strategy. This collection of modules has been designed to show how the Ethics Across the Curriculum Toolkit project provides for the preparation and pairing of student and instructor modules. These modules have been brought together and paired to aid in Toolkit demonstrations designed for faculty developement workshops in ethics across the curriculum. This module has been built around a presentation given at the Teaching Business Ethics Conference on June 8, 2006. It outlines the ethics across the curriculum program being implemented at the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez by discussing (1) a hybrid approach to ethics across the curriculum (EAC) that combines freestanding courses in practical and professional ethics with ethics integration modules for mainstream BSE (business, science, and engineering) courses, (2) an EAC Matrix that identifies existing ethics integration projects and correlates them with moral objectives and accreditation goals, (3) an EAC Toolkit designed to generate pedagogical best practices, and (4) a summary of the process carried out in Business Administration at the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez that culminated in the adoption of a Statement of Values for faculty, administration, students and staff. The purpose of this module is to describe these components of the EAC program in some detail and show how they fit together into a broad, comprehensive strategy for integrating ethics into the mainstream business, science, and engineering curriculum.
