This module represents a sample Christmas Concert Program that encompasses Baroque, modern repertoire and Christmas Carols. As this is a concert given by many school and community choirs in the western Christian culture it is especially given prominence here. Christian church choirs will also present special performances during the services leading up to Christmas. Other religions and cultures will present concerts at times and in the manners appropriate to the religion or culture.
Two familiar Christmas carols are offered for elementary or preschool students to learn in German or English, along with background information about the carols and about Germanic Christmas traditions.
